Tiles of Trajan is part of a new body of work exploring the value of the copy using new media. The aim is to enhance the viewer’s understanding of an artefact. I have begun to address this by taking advantage of Scan the World, an online database of 3D models. This piece consists of a model from the Musée Saint-Raymond combined with a public-domain image sourced from Wikimedia Commons.
